Crypton Studio is an independent software studio run by a single full-stack developer based in India. It designs, builds and ships whole products — its own apps, and a small number of client projects a year.

The rule every product follows

Your data stays on your device. ScanCrypt processes every document on the phone — no document cloud, no account, no uploads. The products in development (NinjaX, CovertX, ClipSafe, MeetVault) are built on the same foundation: local storage, strong encryption, and honesty about the small amount of telemetry the free tiers need to exist.

Why solo

Not because bigger is impossible — because smaller is better for the kind of software this studio makes. One developer means no hand-offs, no diffusion of responsibility, and no gap between the person who promised and the person who builds. Scope gets cut honestly, decisions get made quickly, and the same hands that wrote the first commit answer the support email.

What exists today

ScanCrypt is live on Google Play — an offline PDF scanner and editor that has grown past 70 tools, rated 4.8★. Four more products are on the workbench, and the blog documents what shipping them solo actually looks like. Where the name points

“Crypton” is the commitment baked into the products: encryption and privacy are defaults, not premium add-ons. If a feature can run on-device, it does.
