Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the website cryptonstudio.app (“the site”), operated by Crypton Studio, an independent software studio based in India. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Using the site

You may browse the site and use the contact form for legitimate enquiries. You agree not to:

• attempt to breach, probe, or circumvent the site’s security or rate limits;
• send spam, malware, or unlawful content through the contact form;
• scrape the site in a way that burdens the service or misrepresents its content;
• use the site in violation of any applicable law.

2. Intellectual property

The site’s content — text, design, graphics, logos, and code — belongs to Crypton Studio unless stated otherwise. Product names including ScanCrypt, CovertX, ClipSafe and MeetVault are Crypton Studio product identities. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link; wholesale reproduction requires written permission.

3. Apps and product terms

Our apps are licensed, not sold, and each is governed by its own terms, in-app policies, and the store you install it from (for example the Google Play listing for ScanCrypt). Purchases and subscriptions made through Google Play are processed by Google and handled under Google Play’s payment and refund policies, alongside any refund terms stated in the app. Nothing on this site modifies an app’s own terms.

4. Client engagements

Descriptions of services on this site are informational and do not constitute a binding offer. Client work is governed by a separate written agreement (scope, milestones, price, IP assignment, confidentiality) signed before work begins. If a signed agreement and this page ever conflict, the signed agreement wins.

5. Information accuracy

We work to keep the site’s claims accurate — store ratings and metrics shown on the site state when they were last checked. The site is still provided “as is”: content may contain inaccuracies and may change without notice.

6. No warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crypton Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for claims relating to the site shall not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD 100) or the minimum amount permitted by law, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Third-party links

The site links to third-party services (for example Google Play, X, Instagram). Those services have their own terms and policies; we are not responsible for their content or practices.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts with jurisdiction in India will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to the site, except where applicable consumer law grants you rights in your own jurisdiction.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives at this URL with the date above. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
