ScanCrypt — a 70+ tool PDF suite, built solo

The problem: Document scanners on Android routinely upload your files to someone else’s cloud and lock basics behind subscriptions. The brief: a scanner and full PDF toolbox that works entirely offline, with no account.
The build: Native Kotlin with Jetpack Compose. Every tool — scanning, OCR, editing, signing, compression, AES encryption, redaction — runs on-device. Concept to Play Store in 60 days, then continuous releases grew it past 70 tools.
Where it stands: Live on Google Play, rated 4.8★ (checked Oct 2026). Zero document uploads: the airplane-mode test passes — switch the network off and the document tools work exactly the same.

MeetVault — AI transcription without the data leak

The problem: Meeting recorders ship your audio to a server and keep it. The brief: recording, transcription and summaries where the library stays encrypted on the phone.
The build: Kotlin, ML Kit for on-device speech processing, SQLCipher for the encrypted library. AI where it helps, local storage where it matters. Architecture is settled; the build is underway on the workbench.
Where it stands: In development — release notes will land on the blog when it ships.
